WHAT IS IT
The Movement IQ method combines Ranah’s expertise in Pilates and functional strength training to “bulletproof” the way you move and accelerate your fitness progress.
A semi-private format of 2-6 people that provides the attention and feedback of personal training with the energy of group fitness.
Each class is constructed around 3 major strength exercises. Everything we do in each class is carefully chosen to ensure you do these movements powerfully. You’ll experience joint opening mobility drills, Pilates-inspired mat work, and strength segments that strategically build in intensity over the hour.
Some unexpectedly feel-good muscle shakes and a little sweat!, creating a body that’s lean, capable, and intrinsically strong.
WHY CHOOSE IT
Movement IQ introduces you to what your body is capable of, and how GOOD training can feel when it is designed for long-term results, and honors your body’s biomechanical blueprint for success.
Free consultation for 1-on-1 personal training available upon request.

A MESSAGE FROM RANAH
“My vision has always been to create a highly intentional workout environment, where everything from the fitness programming to the studio space is carefully curated to deliver a positive and empowering experience for you and your body.”
Movement IQ was founded by Ranah Farkhondeh, a health + fitness specialist formerly based in New York City + Los Angeles.
Ranah has been a certified personal trainer for over five years, having formerly worked as a Tier X health coach and Fitness Training Institute Master Instructor for Equinox, Inc., one of America’s most prolific fitness companies. Back in New York City, Ranah launched Movement IQ® because she was frustrated with the lack of quality programming and attention to detail when it came to how movement was taught in everyday fitness classes.
A love and deep appreciation for Italian culture led her to bring Movement IQ® to Florence, Italy. Ranah is very much looking forward to incorporating a little New York City fitness hustle into the landscape here, to help build an Italian fitness culture that’s balanced, fun, yet highly effective and intentional.
